An Accounts Receivable Bookkeeper, also known as an Accounts Receivable Clerk, is responsible for managing the collection of payments owed to a company by its clients or customers. Their duties include generating and sending invoices, tracking and recording payments received, and reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy. Accounts Receivable Bookkeepers communicate with clients regarding overdue payments, resolve billing discrepancies, and maintain customer records. They play a vital role in maintaining positive cash flow by monitoring accounts receivable balances and following up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment and minimize bad debts.
